My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darcy is a special little dog! Her life has totally changed since she was rescued from a Southern CA shelter. Darcy was scheduled to be “put down” when we acquired her. Her foster mom was concerned as she had symptoms of a urinary infection so she was taken to a veterinarian. Darcy was diagnosed with a urinary infection and a bladder stone. She had immediate surgery to remove the stone. Now Darcy is a healthy, happy little 7 lb Maltese mix who is seeking a forever home.
While Darcy was staying in her foster home, her foster mom frequently found her sitting on her hind legs ready for a treat. Check out the photo of Darcy sitting up as she does this with such ease.
As far as a home for Darcy, she would really like a home as an only dog as she really desires a person of her own to share her love. If you are seeking a small companion, who enjoys going for walks or riding in the car or just being near you; Darcy is the perfect dog.
