Lucky's Story...
This girl is a happy lap cat with people and playful with cats that she knows, but is very cautious with strangers of all kinds.

Once she is comfortable with you, you'll find you have a cuddly and ladylike girl who is happy to spend time helping you do whatever odd thing humans are always doing, especially if that involves you sitting or laying down. She also enjoys chasing and wrestling with the other cats and kittens in her foster home, as long as nobody gets too rough, please!

Born the first of August, Lucky has tested negative for FIV and leukemia and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.

If you are interested in this little lady phone our cat coordinator at 503-284-8768 evenings and weekends or fill out our "I'm interested" form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Portland Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Portland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
