My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Kensi. Like that lady detective on TV, I'm competent, courageous, fit, smart and strong. My life sure has improved since I was picked up by animal control, very hungry in southeast NM.

One of my parents is a Pit Bull, for sure, and I must have a Ridgeback relative, because I can throw a beautiful ridge down my back if I feel anxious and try to look bigger.

It's darn scary entering a yard filled with other homeless dogs who focus on you, sniffing to discover who you really are. I acted tough for a couple of days, convinced them not to hurt me, and now we're pals! I'm getting along with everybody, all breeds, all ages, boys and girls.

And, just ask any Pit Bull, people are the best! We love people!

I'm spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also housetrained and do well on a leash and in the car. I'm young and very intelligent; I think we would go far together in training classes.

My adoption fee is $125.00. Call me, ok?
