Seymour's Story...
Seymour is a handsome, 6 year old long-haired cat looking for his forever home. He arrived at the shelter extremely matted and had to be shaved completely. His new family will need to provide him with regular grooming to prevent this embarrasment from happening again! Seymour is a bit of an independent boy who will take some time to warm up to you, but is very sweet once you prove your worthiness to him! He would do best in an adult home where he will not be overwhelmed by loud noises or busy activity. Seymour enjoys the finer things in life, like organic catnip, a soft bed and classical music. If you are looking for a sophisticated and mature cat, Seymour just might be the perfect match for you! Please fill out an adoption application to meet this wonderful boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seymour, a Bellingham Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
