Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a great little guy. He is small for a male cat his age but he has a big heart & so much love to share. Rocky was born with leg deformities but doesn't let that stop him from being a pretty normal cat. He jumps up on the couch & snuggles just like other cats but shouldn't go to a home w/a dog that might chase him or very young children that will want to grab at him since he can't get away very fast. Rocky was found outside & is a tough little guy. You see, this boy was living w/a tail that was rotting away from frost bite that he got last winter! He had to have most of the remaining tail amputated but recovered well. If you would like to meet Rocky & give him a lap to snuggle in please contact us :) Rocky is approximately 2 years old. He LOVES attention and is quick to roll over to have his tummy rubbed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Saint Clair Shores Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saint Clair Shores, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saint Clair Shores.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saint Clair Shores already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saint Clair Shores breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saint Clair Shores paves the way for another one to be saved.
