Diablo's Story...
Diablo is a very sweet boy that was roaming around the streets along with his brother. His brother is very shy and stayed in the shadows but Diablo came running right up to me. He was such a nice boy he let me pick him right up.

We thought he was just someone's indoor/outdoor cat, so we just gave him a little food and want on our way, but when he kept showing up night after night and seemed like he was starving, we began to wonder if he was homeless!

We took him in and ran an ad in the paper and asked around the neighborhood and found out that someone did move out who had 2 black and white male cats.

We took Diablo to the vet to be neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested for feline leukemia and FIV (both negative) and now he is looking for a new PERMANENT home. His brother unfortunately, we are still trying to catch-poor boy wants to be caught but is still very shy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diablo, a Bear Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bear, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bear.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bear already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bear breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bear paves the way for another one to be saved.
