Hi I'm Suki and I'm precious! My Pictures just don't do me justice!! I was rescued from the Irving shelter and Hound Haven isn't sure what happened to me before I came to them but they are pretty sure it wasn't good. I have some scars on my back from burns or wounds. I hope the hair fills in eventually but if not I think it's kind of cool, like my own Harry Potter scar showing what I've survived! Since I am a girl and wasn't fixed before I got rescued I'm learning how to let go of being territorial over my space and things. I love my people but get worried about other dogs taking my things. I'm learning at my events each week and am hoping to learn how to make new friends easily someday soon! Only time will tell, my biggest concern is finding my people, because I love them the most! I can't wait to find my forever family soon, is it you?

If you are interested in me go to http://myhoundhaven.org/adoptionapp.html and fill out the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suki, a Dallas Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
