Hi I'm Suki and I'm precious! My Pictures just don't do me justice!! I was rescued from the Irving shelter and Hound Haven isn't sure what happened to me before I came to them but they are pretty sure it wasn't good. I have some scars on my back from burns or wounds. I hope the hair fills in eventually but if not I think it's kind of cool, like my own Harry Potter scar showing what I've survived! Since I am a girl and wasn't fixed before I got rescued I'm learning how to let go of being territorial over my space and things. I love my people but get worried about other dogs taking my things. I'm learning at my events each week and am hoping to learn how to make new friends easily someday soon! Only time will tell, my biggest concern is finding my people, because I love them the most! I can't wait to find my forever family soon, is it you?

If you are interested in me go to and fill out the adoption application.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting with Hound Haven is simple!

Below is our quick and easy process for adopting one of our fantastic dogs:

Take a look at our adoptable dogs and find a dog you're interested in adopting!

Fill out our Adoption Application so we can make sure that you and your new dog will be a good fit!

Once your application is processed and approved you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee specified for your dog, depending on their age.

A home screening visit will be completed prior to or on the day of adoption.

Don't see a dog in our album that strikes your fancy? Fill out our Hound Match form at and we will help you find the dog that is perfect for you!

Please Note: If you adopt a puppy under 6 months of age, you will be given a spay/neuter voucher that can be redeemed for up to $60 rebate (if the procedure costs less the rebate will be the amount of the procedure). Click here for more info on our rebate process.

Once the dog has been fixed you are required to send us proof that the procedure has been completed. All proof will be verified with the veterinarian office. Failure to spay/neuter the puppy could result in immediate removal of the puppy.
