Sammi's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sammi's Story...
Sammi needs a great retirement home. This sweet precious boy was left at a Cracker Barrel in a carrier next to his bed, his leash, some food and a very sad note from his former owners asking for someone to please take him home. They were no longer able to care for him. The note said his name was Sammi and that he was 8 years old and a purebred longhair Chihuahua. It said that if you say "chloe chloe!"he will sing for you. Sammi is only 6 lbs and most of that seems to be his fluffy fur! Has had a dental and is neutered and would love to find a nice, loving home to spend the rest of his life in comfort. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammi, a Brattleboro Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
