Oscar's Story...

Pug Rescue Network would like to welcome Oscar PRN #328 to Pug Rescue Network. Oscar is 10 years old and was dropped off at a local shelter. Oscar has been seen by our vets and had 7 growths removed. The were biopsied and were not cancerous. He had his teeth cleaned and brought up to date on his vaccines and micro chipped. Oscar does not act his age and is keeping up with his foster sister a 1 year old pug if that tells you anything. Oscar is a very good boy that just wants to be loved. Oscar will also jump on the couch and snuggle pug with you too. Oscar is a keeper and I would not miss out on this fur ball of love.

If you have room in you heart to give Oscar the love and attention that he so deserves please consider adopting him. Get your application at www.pugrescuenetwork.com. If you can not adopt Oscar please consider sponsoring him for as little as $1 so the rescue angels at Pug Rescue Network can continue to save pugs in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Walled Lake Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Walled Lake, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Walled Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walled Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walled Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walled Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
