for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Stevie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Stevie's Story...
Stevie was found in a ditch when he was around 2 years old. Stevie was nothing but skin and bones when he was found and appeared to have leaves and twigs caught in his teeth as this was probably all he could find to eat. Stevie is blind and we think a breeder may have tossed him out to fend for himself. He weighs 12 lbs. Stevie loves his people and needs a special home. Due to his condition, a home with small children may not be the best fit. Stevie longs to have a home to call his own and a family to love and care for him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie, a Virginia Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
