Darla (OCCH)'s Story...
Darla came into the rescue in September, 2013 at about 1.5-2 years. She is extremely sweet. Her foster mom says that Darla is probably the sweetest she has ever had. She is very quiet, until she hears veggies in the kitchen, then she makes it known she wants some. Even then she is still fairly quiet. She is soooooo soft and fluffy too. She does not run or try to hide when taken out of her cage to be held. She is very calm, very curious, and wants to see what is going on.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla (OCCH), a Fullerton Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Fullerton, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Fullerton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fullerton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fullerton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fullerton paves the way for another one to be saved.
