Gia's Story...
Gia is as beautiful as she is sweet. Her blond and white coat is as soft as chenille and she is a gentle, affectionate young girl. Gia is absolutely wonderful with children of all ages, cats and dogs of all sizes. Her social skills are tops and she would do great in a home with multiple animals. She is a big fan of snuggling and bonds quickly and completely with her people. Gia will follow you anywhere and though she gets attached to her people, she is very comfortable staying behind when you have to leave. She has great house manners and is a wonderful companion. We estimate that Gia is a Pittie mix and is about 2 years old. Gia weighs 50 lbs and is full grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gia, a Austin American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei for sale in Austin, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
