My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cute! Adorable! Precious! That's the easiest way to describe Chica. This sweet little girl is all love! Chica's owner got very ill and could no longer care for her. Before Chica came to our rescue, she was in bad shape: She had to have 13 teeth removed, not due to old age but rather not receiving proper care. Chica also had lost a lot of hair, also due to not receiving proper care. But all that is forgotten now, the little girl has recovered very well and is loving life again! She is a bit shy with new people but once comfortable, she is very affectionate and silly. Chica is well behaved in the house, she LOVES to sit in your lap and her tail goes a million miles per hour when she is happy! Chica is well behaved in the house, she is a quiet girl and easy to care for. Chica gets along fine with dogs and cats but she would be totally happy as the only animal in the home, as long, as she can find a lap to get comfortable in. If you are looking for a quiet, easy companion to either leave at home alone for a while or take with you on your excursions, Chica is the right one!
PLEASE NOTE that according to the American Kennel Club, a dog is considered a senior dog, starting at age 7. They can still have many years left to live and are happy and sturdy.
