My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuk Tuk is a sweetheart and a princess. She is a very independent dog which balances nicely with her very dependent brother Fuggs, she loves to go for walks but also loves to relax at home by your side. She loves belly rubs and to be pet! Her shy laid back personality sometimes puts her in the shadow of her brother's very upfront personality causing her to seem very sad, she just needs the extra attention even though she may not seem like she wants it!

Here is what else her foster family had to say:

Tuk Tuk is a lovely girl. She is friendly with everyone including children of all ages. She is great with other pets and is just a sweetheart of a pet. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and just wants to be loved.

Tuk Tuk is quiet and well behaved. She has great manners in the home. She is fully trained and knows her basic obedience such as come, sit down, lay down, paw, sing. She is excellent on leash and great when meeting other dogs on walks. She is a wonderful, fully trained, well behaved family companion. She is not crate trained as she would never need to be crated. She is fine when left on her own.

She loves going for walks but also enjoys her quiet time and just lounging around the house. She likes to be around people and of course is bonded to her brother Fuggs who is also up for adoption. Tuk Tuk would do best with someone who loves to walk but also stay low key at the house, someone who will give her the attention she needs and also hopefully adopt her brother Fuggs as well.

Both Tuk Tuk and Fuggs have been together their entire lives and have come from a very loving family. It is only with the most unfortunate family tragedy that these dogs are in need of a new home.

If you have room in your home and your heart for Fuggs and his sister Tuk Tuk, please submit an application for consideration. We are hoping to find a home where Fuggs and Tuk Tuk can remain together but will be taking individual applications for each dog as well. There will be a lowered adoption donation required for anyone willing to take them both.
