Find a pet to adopt
I am up to date with shots.
This poor little gal was found running loose and was very scared. She is still wary of people but warms up to you if you are patient with her. She is about 1 and a half years old and is a min pin/doxie mix with very cute large ears! She is just the right size to sit in your lap! Will be spayed prior to adoption All dogs are dewormed, checked and treated for fleas if needed & have all vaccines (except rabies).

Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battleground already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battleground breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund breeders who
help with Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Battleground paves the way for another one to be saved.
