My name is Gidget and I bet you are wondering how I ended up with that name...? Remember Sally Fields in that flying nun series? Ok - my foster mom is showing her age but she said I reminded her of the actress in that sitcom. Funny, huh? Cause I can't fly, although I've been known to jump from place to place! I've grown up and still loveable, and crave to be my foster mom's lap cat ...when I'm through with my activities. Which means I'll love your lap too! I also get along with the Yorkie that comes to visit...and his name is Pedro.
Anyways, to get to the point (oh, and by the way, my fur is unusual and very pretty) - I'm looking for that pie in the sky - my forever family and home....are you interested? If you are, come to PetSmart on a Saturday and see me. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.
Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoptions on most Saturday's and Sunday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm. For more information, please check out our website.
Our Adoption Process...
We have a $95 adoption fee which helps cover the costs of getting the cats and kittens to adoptable status. We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, and then a contract upon approval.
