Emma's Story...
Emma is a super sweet ~1 yr old beagle/spaniel mix. She is very friendly, loves to be with you and snuggle. She gets along great with other dogs. We don't know about cats. Emma is ~18 lbs full grown. Emma seems to be housebroken, no accidents in her foster home yet. Emma rides well in the car. She loves to play with stuffed toys. Emma walks ok on leash, but will need some training.
Emma is super super kind and just a little snuggle bug. She's a calm little girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Alexandria Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
