Lula is a beautiful girl that loves attention and who is good with people of all ages. Having been raised with a toddler she is very tolerant of young children but would love to have older children that would enjoy going for walks with her or just hanging out and playing together. She also enjoys making new dog friends on her walks or romping with them at the off leash park. She would do well with another dog for companionship and play, and she is currently living in a home with cats without any problem.
Lula does need to be exercised daily to keep her happy and healthy and two daily walks with some off leash time would be perfect. Someone with a country property or within walking distance of an off leash park or forest would be ideal. Her favourite activities are hiking off leash through the woods and playing in the water at the cottage. She is a fairly obedient hound and knows her basic commands and can be left on her own for several hours without issues but if she doesn't get the exercise she needs she can sometimes become bored and can get herself into trouble by chewing on things such as the kids toys. For the most part Lula is a quiet dog who rarely barks.
Lula is approximately 2 years old and weighs 75 – 80 lbs. She has all of her medical needs up to date and has been spayed and micro-chipped.
