Tucker's Story...
Hi Im Tucker!

Im a happy and nice guy - sweet and goofy. Did you watch my video? I can hold my toys in my paws all while laying on my back, pretty talented huh? Wow - are you impressed yet?

In addition to being totally handsome, Im well trained, I know sit, stay, and wait, and I walk nicely on leash. Im completely housebroken, I dont chew anything thats not my toy. Im two years old, up to date on my shots, neutered, and I weigh about 53 lbs. I have flea allergies, so need to be on flea preventative. I prefer a home with no kitties and if you have a doggie - a bigger dog that I can play with would be great!

Ive had the same family since I was 3 months old. My human mom loves me, but she moved into an apartment and she is working long hours so she cannot keep me anymore. It makes me sad, but Im looking forward to having a new family who will love me forever!

If you are looking for a happy, well trained best friend - thats ME! Please send an email to my friends at Lady's Hope Dog Rescue and lets see if we're a match.

Love, Tucker

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Seattle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
