Facts about CK

  • Breed: Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
We found this handsome boy on the streets of Glendale in 112 degree weather. Poor guy had bite wounds on his head and body.

Seems like he had it pretty rough before we found him. He is safe now, all healed up and looking for a family to love him and keep him safe. Claymore is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and micro-chipped.

Claymore would do best in a home without cats or another alpha dog. He is very head strong and is going to need a dog saavy owner who can be the leader of the pack. Claymore can also be very protective of his owner/family. He is very smart and listens well.

He loves to cuddle and be close to his people and has a really funny and sweet personality. Thanks for reading about Claymore.

About Valley Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a pending non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a kennel / shelter type of facility. We believe the most effective and successful way to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Ultimately fostering our rescue animals in homes rather than a kennel environment allows us to give you complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with your family and lifestyle.

Our Adoption Process...

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.
