Kiimak's Story...
I’m Kiimak. Male Chihuahua. 8 lbs. 1 year old. Good with cats and dogs. I’m shy around new people and standing people but if you give me some time, I warm up and nudge your hand for attention. I play with the other dogs in my foster home. I do come around after awhile of getting to know you then I enjoy cuddling! I also get along with other dogs and yes even those feline creatures! I really am a great little guy once I get to know you better and I’ll wag my tail and smile at you! Everything is so new to me but I am really doing well under my foster mom’s care. I am coming out of my shell and enjoying life again! Please fill out an adoption application and help me find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiimak, a Edmonton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
