Maggie's Story...
Meet Maggie. Maggie came into Philly Pug & Short Nose Rescue on Saturday, October 19th. Maggie was listed on craig's list because her owners are moving and cannot take her with them.

Maggie is an 8 month old Puggle (Pug/Beagle Mix). She is up-to-date on her shots. She will be getting spayed on Friday, October 25th and she will be available for adoption upon her recovery from her surgery.

Maggie is a high energy puggle. She snorts and loves being with her people and will follow you everywhere. She is very shy at first but warms up quickly. Maggie is working really hard on her house manners.

If you would like to adopt Maggie, please go to our web site and fill out an adoption application linked here http://www.ppsnrescue.com/adoption/106-2/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Huntingdon Valley Pug/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Huntingdon Valley, or seeking a Pug/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Huntingdon Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntingdon Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntingdon Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntingdon Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
