Gus's Story...
Hello There! My name is Gus. I am a beautiful grey little purr boy. My favorite thing in the whole world is to be petted. My foster mom says that when I go over to her that I am like Velcro because I want to stay with her to soak up on all the love she gives me. Maybe they should have called me
Velcro! I was born in July 2013 and am still very young. I love to play with my foster brother Hank.
We are the same age and have a good time together. We are fully vetted and cost $125 each or $200 for the both of us. We both need to find our own homes or home so that more kittens can be rescued.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
