Ziggy's Story...
Hi! my name is Ziggy and I am looking for a loving, furever home. I was dumped on a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico with all my fur matted. Once I was rescued they gave me a great haircut and now I am a happy dog who loves people. I am about 3 years old, 12 lbs,, neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated and microchipped. I love to play but I love to snuggle to. I currently am residing in Dedham, Mass. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Please get your adoption applications in so you can come to our meet and greets on Saturdays from 9 - 3 and Sundays 9 - 1 and by appointment Monday through Friday. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses, Ziggy :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Brooklyn Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
