This little girl is a 3 year old, 18 pound Beagle who was abandoned at a very small kill shelter in TN due to family stress. We cannot for the life of us see how they could have done this to such a lovely and wonderful dog. Martina is an A+ star candidate for being the best dog you will ever own in life. She comes across as a little shy and reserved at first but warms quickly as soon as she feels you are safe and kind. It only takes a minute to change that shyness to wiggle tails and puppy dog kisses and wanting to sit in your lap. She is crate trained and seems to be house trained. We were worried she had been mistreated but then saw her around another rescued dogs, Martina came to life. She is running laps around the house begging for love and eating much better. She is such a joy to see so happy. Martina is really a sweet girl and even rides great in a car. She will be a fabulous dog to have in your life as your very best friend that will go everywhere with you! You can’t ask for more than that. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
