Ritz Bits's Story...
Ritz Bits and his siblings were rescued from a county kill shelter when they were tiny five week old babies. Born June 28 2013, Ritz Bits is that great balance between fun and snuggling. He is a normal pup and loves to play with his litter mates, other dogs, and children, but he'll go for a good scratch and loving just as often!

Ritz Bits is likely a Pointer mixed with something small, so he will not reach the size of a pure bred pointer. He will probably be around 25 pounds when fully grown.

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates and it is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into the wonderful family pets they should be!

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ritz Bits, a Williston Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Williston, or seeking a Pointer puppy from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
