My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World, MaisieOreo
My name is Maisie and I’m a darling, and sweet little bichon of five. I’m a natural greeter who loves people and other dogs. My foster Mom says I’m adorable and happy – and that I smile and am always very loving! My best friend is named Oreo and she is also a sweet little girl of five. Mom says she’s a calm, affectionate, happy and fun-loving girl. Oreo is a cuddler who also likes to lay her head on your shoulders and stay there quietly for as long as possible.
Dad says I, Maisie, am also a cuddler and a snuggler - incredibly sweet, charming, eager to please and VERY smart! He says I love to play fetch and compete with my doggy foster brothers to get the ball before they do! Mom says I have a cute little wiggle when I walk and am rendered helpless when you rub my tummy!
When I first became a FurKid I had been wandering the streets with Oreo. We were brought into the shelter and were there for many weeks. Then someone came along and adopted her but left me behind. As a result, I was afraid and a bit unsure of myself. With love, doggy foster brothers to play with and a wonderful foster family to guide me I became a confident and happy girl once again. Then the most amazing thing happened!Maisie & Oreo The family who adopted Oreo gave her back to the shelter because she wasn’t happy without me. When my Aunties at Bichon FurKids found out, they scooped up Oreo and we had this great reunion! We are SO happy to be back together. We are "forever friends".
We are always good company, get along well with other furkids and those creatures called ‘cats’ and like to play with toys. We like to play our version of fetch – that’s where we race after the ball and Mom brings it back to us, then we start all over again! We are also housebroken, love our walks and rides in the car and, most of all, love being with each other. We are happy to be a pair once again – and if we sound like the kind of girls you’d like to have as companions, please ask for us!
Double Doggie Kisses,
Magical and Amazing Maisie and Outstanding and Optimistic Oreo
