He has taken a lot of time and patience, but has turned into an affectionate, social, cuddly cat. He loves to be pet, purrs readily, and is finally even learning to be a happy purring lap cat. However, he is bound to take some time (ie probably months) to adapt to a new home, so will need a patient and understanding family. He is great with other cats and dogs, but would probably do best without young children.
To add to his issues, he got an upper respiratory tract infection when young and it led to chronic rhinitis. He sneezes with thick discharge frequently. It doesn't need medical attention, he acts and feels fine despite it - but it will likely be his normal long term.
