My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Male guinea pigs

*Hairless albinos (Oscar has a white nose and Marvin has a brown nose)

*Will be adopted out together

-These boys came to Judge's Park about a year ago when their owner couldn't care for them any longer. We were loathe to adopt them out because of the fact that hairless piggies are such sensitive little critters, but we decided that right now we would post them up online in case someone came along who could handle them! These boys are very sweet, but don't especially like to be petted, except on the nose where they have a little bit of hair :) Hairless piggies do require more work than regular piggies! They need to be kept in a good environment that is not too cold. They need to be on soft bedding to reduce scratches and they require about twice as much food as normal piggies because of their metabolism. We do give ours baths and wipe downs to keep them clean and we give them cuddle sacks to sleep in (which they love!). We also rub their skin with coconut oil when they get dry. Our piggy boys are on unlimited soft timothy/grass hay, and about 1/2 to 3/4 cups of a mix of Oxbow timothy and alfalfa pellets a day, along with normal piggy vegetables like spring mixes, dandelion, romaine, green and red leaf lettuce, etc. Adoption fee is $50 for the pair. Adopters will be signing a NO BREEDING contract. These boys will not be bred in any way. There are far too many unwanted piggies in this world and our piggies will not be used to make money. Oscar does have on un-descended testicle, but that will not affect him in the future healthwise.
