My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

.This very handsome boy is BJ. His black coat is soft and silky and beautiful. He is on the smaller side weighing about 40 lbs. BJ is an active young boy of about a year in age, with all of that young boy energy. He is not hyper though and has great manners and does not jump all over people. BJ loves toys, from those old rolled up socks to the squeaky ones. He loves going for walks, does great on a leash and will carry his favorite toy in his mouth as he goes around the block. BJ also loves going for runs with his foster mom and she says that he is a “runner’s dream dog! He stays just to the right of me and will go along with the set pace, never pulling!” BJ takes treats very gently and he gets a lot for being such an awesome boy. BJ is learning new tricks in his foster home and he has now mastered the “sit” command! He gets along great with other dogs and likes being around people and getting attention. BJ is a smart boy and would do great in training classes. We are not sure about the kitties, but think he would playfully chase them. BJ can be cat tested if needed. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines including rabies and micro-chipped. He is also crate trained and working on house training.
