This very handsome man is Telly, a 3 1/2 year old shepherd that would love a great home of his own. Telly came to us from our Newark facility, when his family abandoned him in the yard and moved away. Telly is truly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He is very shy, but not at all fearful. He likes to take his time to get to know you and when he realizes that he can trust you, he will bury his head in your knees and hope that you'll give him some affection. Telly had a spa day as soon as he arrived at our facility, and he loved every bit of it. He is happy to have you handle him gently from head to tail and loved being pampered. Telly is not hard to please....just treat him with love, kindness and respect and he will be your loyal and loving best friend for life. He is extremely well behaved, calm, gentle, and easy going. He gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a home with mature children. Telly is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a great family that will love him and care for him the way he deserves. Please make his dreams come true. 10/9/13
