Eva's Story...
I’m an affectionate, good-natured and curious gal who does well on a leash. I’ll adore going for walks and car rides with you. I’m like most of my friends here when it comes to toys; I prefer something that squeaks or makes noise. Some of my pictures don't make me the most beautiful girl but as you can see I'm already looking better. See I was left all alone in my back yard and for some reason my mom and dad left me behind when they decided to move. Please, don’t let my slight imperfection define me because it hasn’t stopped me one bit from enjoying life to the fullest. Every day will be golden when I have a family who will lobeaufort me and just love me for the sweet fun-loving gal I am.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eva, a San Antonio Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
