Phantom's Story...
"Rockin" Phantom checking in!!! HI! I am a Striking 2 yr old Gray/Blue American Staffey. I was rescued from a really bad place so I could find my forever family. I am fully vetted and neutered. Ms. Cheryl says I am a super nice guy that loves attention. I am really smart and I learn fast. I love chew toys and I really need a fenced yard so I can stay safe. I need to be the only dog in the home. Although I like the ladies I don't get along with most other male dogs. I am not spoiled, just want to be the center of all the love:) Please...give me a chance to prove how much love I can shower you with. Most of us Staffeys are mis-understood and we have a hard time finding good homes, that is why Ms. Cheryl is extra careful when she finds us the perfect family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phantom, a Baxter American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Baxter, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Baxter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baxter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baxter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baxter paves the way for another one to be saved.
