Nala's Story...
Hey guys, I'm Nala. I am a 1 year old Shiba Inu mix. I was admitted to a local humane society when my family couldn't have me anymore. I am a fun loving girl who loves going for walks and playing with my toys. I am friendly with all however I can sometimes be a bit shy with meeting new people, but hey who isn't. I am friendly with other dogs and cats although occassionally I think it's a fun game to see if the cats will run away from me.

My foster mom tells me I have perfect house manners. They are also teaching me what they call basic commands such as sit, down, stay and come. I will admit I like to snuggle up on the couch and enjoy a good belly rub. I also enjoy just playing with my people

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Rochester/Buffalo Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
