My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have to agree that two is always better than one, and we have the proof of it right here with Mumsy and Beanie! These three year old dachshund girls came to New Leash as a true rescue. Both girls were living in a neglectful home when a couple of good folks stepped in. Now these worthy girls are getting their second chance at life full of love, treats, and family!

Mumsy (11lbs of love) and Beanie (7lbs of cuddles) are just about as cute as they can be. Mumsy is appropriately named for her mom like ability to check on little sister with kisses and head bumps. Independent and extra clever, this smart girl would be a perfect running or walking companion. Beanie is the attention lover who actively searches out comfy laps and pets from her humans. Her low key personality shines through.

As bonded sisters, these girls are looking for a home they can share together. Small in size, they easily adapt to all kinds of environments.
