Hey there!!! My name is Sassy Rae, and I am just the perfect looking beagle girl! I lived outside my whole life until the day that I came to live with the folks at AZ Beagle Rescue. This living inside a house is a really cool thing and I have taken to it quickly and have decided this is the life for me. I figured out that doggy door thing the first day I lived here and have never had an "accident" in the house. I hardly make any noise unless I pick up on a great smell outside. Then the beagle in me comes out and I like to bay a bit while I track that smell down. I also have a really strong desire to catch birds, so it would be a good idea for me to live in a home without birds around. I am just learning how to walk on a leash so sometimes I pull or twist around but I am working on getting used to it. I sleep nicely in my doggy bed each night, but I am just as content being in a kennel if you prefer I sleep there instead. I ride so nicely in the backseat of the car, you might just forget that I am there! I get along great with other dogs, but do get a little growly with my sister from time to time if I think she is getting too much attention from my foster mom or the boy dog that lives with me too. I am curious about everything I see and hear, but know to not get into things that I shouldn't. I am a smaller beagle girl and have a thinner physique.
