Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ginny's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginny's Story...
The winsome Ginny (6 months old) was born at a busy garage, which her rescuers felt was an unsuitable environment for this dainty dilute calico. Ginny enjoys spending her days lounging on blankets, and when she sees you watching will roll around and look cute in an effort to lure you over to pet her. Her favorite moments are when you scratch her on the back of her neck. She also likes for people to pet her while she eats, and has a firmly stated preference for all foods featuring chicken. Ginny will be shy at first, but after settling in, this sweet-tempered girl will be a loving companion for humans, cats, and dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Alexandria Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
