My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE NOTE: ARRF does not have a shelter. This dog lives in a foster home. If you have seen an address for ARRF, it is only our mailing address. Please contact the foster of this dog if you are interested in meeting him. See contact information at the end of his profile.

Hope is a Shepherd/Lab mix. He's a neutered male between 2 and 3 years old with white and gold short hair, and he weighs about 50 pounds. He is very loving with adults and older children (over 12). He hasn't been around small children in his foster home. He likes large female dogs and is all right with smaller dogs once he gets to know them and get used to them. He is crate trained, house-trained and doesn't bark a lot. Hope really loves to play ball and knows how to entertain himself. His socialization skills are lacking due to his former environment, but, given the chance, this boy will learn to love, trust, and become a wonderful member of your pack.
