My story

HISTORY:
Norman has been a part of Lulu’s Crew for multiple years.

ABOUT:
Norman was a resident of our adoption center for almost a year. One of our regular foster homes offered to take him in because the constant in-and-out of strangers was getting stressful for him, it has also given us an opportunity to get to know him much better!

Norman can be shy around new or fast-moving people and is a bit skittish with new or loud noises; but it didn’t take Norman very long to want to start exploring around his foster home. Within a short month his foster mom was able to gain his trust enough that she can now pick him up. All he needs is simple patience when he is adjusting and he will come around and begin to be more social. He currently lives with one adult and 3 female cats. He gets along very well with the other cats and he loves to play with them. He would do best being adopted into a home with at least one other cat, ideally a confident cat who would love to play with him. Norman’s not-so-secret love is people food, and he is not shy about coming up to ask for (or take) some. He’s not a morning person and is usually the last one to breakfast. Norman also loves stuffed toys and will often sit on top of them to keep the other cats from having a turn! His foster mom says Norman, with his silly quirks and awkwardness, reminds her of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. He loves to sit in high places, his favorite being the top of the cat tree by the window so he can watch the birds. Because Norman is on the shy side, we think a calmer, less chaotic home would be the best for him. Norman is a gentle soul with a bit of a mischievous side for fun. FIV+
