Lillian's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lillian's Story...
Lillian is a lovely 6 year old black Lab mix. She weighs 43 lbs and is microchipped. She's also spayed and up-to-date on her shots. Because Lillian is shy when meeting new people, she was overlooked time and time again while at the city shelter. She must have spent her entire life outside since her ears are scarred and a bit torn and she is heart worm positive. Heart worms are very treatable and K-9 New Life will take care of this treatment.

Now here is the good part! Despite the obvious neglect this little girl has suffered, she is the most gentle and sweetest dog ever. Her eyes will melt your heart. Since being in her foster home, Lillian has gained confidence and is learning that she is now safe and loved. She does well with other dogs and anyone she meets. All Lillian needs now is to finally have the loving home and family that she so much deserves. She will certainly be a wonderful companion for a loving home, so come and meet her soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lillian, a Virginia Beach Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
