Suki's Story...
Suki is a sweet terrier mix of approx one year and 25lbs. She was very shy and scared when we rescued her , but after a few days she felt safe and happy again and came out of her shell..she now loves to run and play with her rescue buddies, her favorite game is tag and she loves her toys, seems to be pretty well house trained and does ok on leash but could do with some more leash and obedience training, at night she curls up in her big doggie bed and sleeps with her pals, she has a typical terrier personality, very spunky and sure of herself, she loves attention and lots of treats

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suki, a Norwalk Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
