My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just beautiful, this boy is Cooper a beautiful Blonde lab retriever. Cooper is 4yrs old, and has a wonderful temperament. Cooper is blessed with a super soft shiny coat and soft brown eyes that just melt your heart.
COOPER`S story >>>> I came across Cooper a few days before Easter he was in a Georgia kill shelter with just a few days left before he was Euthanized, I looked at his photo and his eyes just reached out to me. The next few days I watched and hoped that a local Rescue would step up to save him but it was Easter and very few people were around. I looked at his bio and it was even worse he was heart worm positive that is an automatic death sentence in most shelters. 5 minutes to go I made the call Lifeline will take him. On arrival in Florida Cooper also had buried under his coat lots of matted black lumps from an earlier infestation that had not been treated it was evident this poor boy had been kept outdoors most of his life. Cooper went immediately to his foster mom where he enjoys the home comforts many of us take for granted. Cooper was treated for his skin infection and also went through heart worm treatment a nasty treatment that is quite harsh and Risky. Cooper was an excellent patient and 3 months after his treatment was pronounced heart worm negative all clear. We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for him. A home that will give him the stability and security and he needs Cooper is awesome boy very obedient,This boy is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and the attention he deserves.
Cooper will warm to you and just melt your heart. Cooper loves to be around humans and will follow you around, He likes to go for walks and is just as happy staying with you indoors as long as you are around he is the happiest boy. Cooper is a calm boy a little wary when he is moved to a new environment but he quickly warms to you. He does have a little separation anxiety and dislikes thunderstorms He has had 2 small seizures and has been tested by our vet it is nothing serious but we have put him on medication and he has been fine. The medication is inexpensive. Cooper knows commands. and he likes car rides and he is good in the car a little anxious at first but settles down and loves to watch through the window. At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans..Cooper is housebroken, he will go to the door when he needs to go out to potty. He will come when called. He bonds well and responds to love and petting Its so hard not to fall in love with him. Cooper is not a jumper he is calm but adores attention. Cooper is intelligent and a smart learner
Cooper is neutered, current on all vaccinations and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Cooper a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life.
We are looking for a forever home that will cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. Cooper is so lovable, and he is good around Children. Cooper would make an excellent addition to an older family or even a companion dog I would say Cooper is calm and dosent need the excitement of a young family he would be perfect with an older couple that have time to spend with him and are at home most of the day. Cooper will blossom with the right interaction.
A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where he can run play and relax would be ideal. He would do well with another dog as a companion or being an only dog. Cooper gets along with other dogs but he is a quiet boy and dosent particularity care for chaos where there are too many dogs. But he does like to play and he likes the females. Please no cats I am not sure home with cats would work for him. Cooper is a big loveable boy and any owner would be proud to have him around and he certainly is a head turner
Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Cooper`s life complete again if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure. If you would like more information , photos or meet Cooper please contact us on 863-582-2150 or email us at info@lifelinedogrescue.org Cooper is currently in the Casselberry area.
