Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sangria is an absolutely amazing dog! She has overcome so much! Sangria was turned into a local shelter because her owners couldn’t afford to give her the medical attention she needed. Turns out, she had a piece of wire tied around her leg. It was imbedded and infected. Then Sangria developed a nasty respiratory infection and almost didn’t survive. On September 20, Sangria had to have her leg amputated. She's doing great, fully recovered and ready for her FORever Home! Despite her rough start, Sangria is a loving, sweet, wonderful dog. She is a Boxer mix, and will be spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped in just a few days. She is crate trained, and we are working on basic obedience commands now. She is almost house trained and is learning sit, stay, down and come. Sangria is about 10 months old. If you want a very attached companion, Sangria is your girl. She is great with kids and other dogs. Sangria eats her meals in her crate because she likes her food a bit too much! She is fostered in Huntsville, AL, but transport is available to your area.
