Terra's Story...
Terra A21328566
Hi, I’m Terra (A21328566), a medium-sized pittie mix. . The folks here think I’m 3-5 years old. I was found as a stray in North Philly but I’m willing to move anywhere I can share my love. The volunteers say I’m a sweet girl and they love the way I roll over on my back so you can rub my tummy. I’m a pretty brindle mix and I’m a little shaken up to find myself in the shelter. I love people and can’t wait to move on to the next part of my life! Come meet me at ACCT so I can demonstrate my charm in person. I’m good with adults and older children. If you’ve got younger children, bring them so we can see how we do together.

Act quickly to adopt Terra. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Terra, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
