Scout's Story...
Scout is about a year old, 60 pounds and is all puppy play! This little guy was found on the streets near starved. He was rescued from a rural shelter in Clewistin where he was a volunteer favorite! Scout loves to hop and romp and play with other dogs! He will greet his people with a big puppy hug and roll over for a belly rub! He enjoys rides in the car, long walks and jogging. Scout loves all people and all dogs, big, small, male or female. He's somewhat unsure of cats and ran away from one who swatted at him. Scout recently discovered toys and has fun gathering them up in a pile and playing tug of war with the other dogs! Scout is very young and silly at times but he won't let you forget just how very smart he is! In a very short time he learned to sit and give his paw! This happy sweet and loving pup is ready for a home of his own. ♥ Apply now at www.bigheartsbigdogs.com ♥

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Lake Worth German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lake Worth, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lake Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
