My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful lady is Violet, a 5 1/2 year old gorgeous girl that would love a great home of her own. Violet has a sad and odd story.....it seems that Violet was outside during Hurricane Sandy and disappeared for a while. When she returned home, according to her family, the other cats did not recognize her and Violet became miserable and was having accidents in the house, so they turned her in to us. Regardless of the situation, we are just happy to have Violet safe with us and not outside fending for herself. Violet is such a sweet girl. She is very laid back and easy going, and would be very content just to cuddle up with you on the couch, or take a snooze on a comfy bed. Violet gets along great with other cats and people of all ages. She has been with us for about 6 months now and would love a fresh start in life. File#22436 5/11/13
