HIlde's Story...
Hilde is a beautiful, black, fluffy love muffin! A kind person noticed her hanging around the neighbourhood and started to feed her. Hilde was very happy to get fed on a regular basis and was very friendly with the lady who then put up posters all around the neighbourhood, trying to find Hilde’s people. She didn’t have any luck though and unfortunately she was allergic to cats or she would have kept Hilde herself. As it started to get closer and closer to Halloween, this guardian angel became more and more concerned about Hilde’s safety outside so she brought her to Katie’s Place.

Hilde adjusted to life at the shelter very easily and was instantly friendly with everyone. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddled. She lights up when someone enters her room and goes over to see her and she’s so happy to be picked up and snuggled. Hilde obviously lived with people at some point in her life because she has been declawed. With no natural defense system now, Hilde is extremely lucky to have been rescued from a life on the streets where she unable to defend herself. The only thing Hilde doesn’t like at the shelter is the other cats so she will be happiest in a home where she is the only kitty. This incredibly sweet natured girl loves to be loved and she loves you back equally in return – she would be a wonderful addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HIlde, a Maple Ridge Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Maple Ridge, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Maple Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
