Quaker Parrot
Adoption Fee $50 or $100 with Cage

Pauly is a three-year-old male Quaker parrot that is the perfect family pet. He is a very sweet, laid-back bird who will step up and accept head scratches from everyone, even kids! He does great with crowds too. Unless he is curious about something or not receiving adequate attention in general, Pauly is a very quiet and calm bird who won’t interrupt during homework or dinnertime. He is currently eating pellets and a few vegetables here and there (he is still getting used to those). Pauly likes to try to mimic what you’re saying, and will make cute kissing sounds when repeatedly kissed. The previous owners of Pauly became very busy folks and couldn’t devote much of their time to him. He became cage aggressive, but he is getting better over time. As he trusts a person more they can take him out without much of a problem, but otherwise a perch always works. Once he is out of his cage, he doesn’t try to be a big, protective meanie and will happily receive kisses from anyone. Pauly would be an excellent choice for a loving family that can give him all the attention he needs!
