Buttons's Story...
Buttons came to the shelter as a stray. She had been a neighborhood cat for quite a while. A person in the neighborhood did not want her on the streets anymore, so she was turned over to animal control. It is believed that Buttons' family moved out several months ago and left her behind to fend for herself.

Buttons is a very friendly girl, she would often walk up to the people in the neighborhood when they would get out of their cars or homes. Buttons is a pretty girl, mainly white, with calico markings on her head, feet and tail.
While she is scared at the shelter, she has shown that she still has a friendly demeanor.

She is all ready spayed, UTD on shots and FIV/FeLV negative, so she is ready and eager for a loving home to call her own.

If you are a 501 c 3 rescue interested in taking Buttons into your organization please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Hazel Park Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Hazel Park, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Hazel Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazel Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazel Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazel Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
