Blake's Story...
10/29/13- Blake 7-8 months old. Blake is a super human friendly dog. He loves to chew on his duck toy and work for treats. He knows sit and is working on stay and house training - he is a super fast learner and eager to please! He is very scared of many things including dogs, children, doors, and cars - but we are working really hard to get better. He loves humans so much he gets a little anxious when they leave but he's doing kennel training! I've got lots to learn, but I'm the most loving puppy and would work great with someone willing to work with me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blake, a Columbus German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Columbus, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
